I know you're having problems with the date that your posts are getting published... as in they can be years off. Have you tried 'Post Options' that is at the very lower left corner of a post where you write in it. You can set the post date and time for automatic or a scheduled time.

Running

I think there are people made to run... and those who weren't... I love running, and I hate running. Sometimes I just don't want to run. I have learned Mom is sssooo right! Running shoes frequently used to wear out after 6 months. I've been running on old shoes - probably way past 6 months. I have been feeling it and haven't really been doing much running as a result - more walking than running. I got new running shoes last week. LOVE THEM. New Balance. Only New Balance for me. And they aren't big and clumpy, but small and cute... for running shoes. I've been running again  now that I don't feel it in my knees. Tonight I ran my first mile in 10 minutes. Woo-hoo! And I almost ran my second mile in 10 minutes - somewhere around 11 or 11.5 minutes. And I walked some of that second mile, so I really had to bust it out the end of the second mile. Ran 3 miles. That definitely is NOT a marathon like Chad, but it feels good for me.... especially since I haven't been full out running in the last couple of weeks.

4 and counting

Tomorrow will be the 4th day that the Atlanta Public School System is shut down... and therefore the 4th day I won't have had work. The Starrs drove over and rescued us for dinner at the Matador and a trip to Target. It was 'interesting' driving, but Caleb is a pro.

3 days

Carrie and I are working on 3 days of being snowed into our home. Things started melting yesterday, but that made things even more difficult today. Our driveway is now ONE SOLID SHEET OF ICE. I managed to slide my way up the driveway this morning to walk to the neighborhood coffee shop. I having been getting cabin fever and had to escape. Of course it wasn't easy. When I tried to go up last part I slide back into my car. Had to cling to the fence on the side and dig my hiking boots into the ice/snow on the side. On the way back I was able to dig the sides of my boots back into the ice/snow on the sides of the driveway, but that was gone about half way down. I literally slide the rest of the way down and bit the dust right in front of my door. Laughed the whole entire time as it was just the craziest experience. My right thumb is bleeding and throbbing and my nail cracked. Carrie and I are not venturing back out there until there is some major melting of the single sheet of ice.
